Redline Athletics Webster is the preeminent training center for all athletes in the Webster, Clear Lake, League City, and Friendswood area. The brand new training center is over 8,100 square feet including a basketball/volleyball court, low profile turf training area, Hammer Strength weight room, and batting cages.

1 ON 1 TRAINING AND LESSONS

Concentrate on specific skills to enhance your game. Typically, 1-on-1 sessions are scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance with your trainer.

INTRO TO SPORTS

Professionally-coached early athletic development program tailored for athletes ages 3 to 7 of any skill level.  They’ll enjoy learning to catch, throw, kick, run, skip and more in this fun, upbeat program.

JUSTIN SANDEL

OWNER

AUSTIN BENNETT

GENERAL MANAGER

Austin Bennett is a young, energetic coach and mentor. Austin has a lot of experience dealing with college athletes and youth athletes. Austin has been involved with sports training and development for over 3 years and plans to improve the next generation of great student athletes. A native of Houston, Texas, Bennett graduated from Manvel high school. while balancing track and football Bennett earned a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma. Apart of the Sooners football program Bennett earned 2 varsity letters and played in the Russell Athletic Bowl and the 2014 All-State Sugar bowl game. Bennett then took his career to Henderson state University where he was honored GAC player of the week. Bennett graduated with a bachelor’s degree of Integrated Studies from Henderson State in December, 2017. After graduating, Bennett coached football in Coffeyville Kansas where he graduated and developed 4 division 1 athletes within a matter of 7 months. Coach Bennett also volunteers at Pearland little league baseball with kids ranging from 5-16.

NIKKI MCKENZIE

DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE

Nikki McKenzie was a former gymnast and track and field athlete. She was a jumper and sprinter at the University of Dubuque where she still holds the school records for the long and triple jump. Throughout her time at UD she won five conference titles and was a 2014 NCAA national qualifier in the triple jump. After completing her track career, she became the Assistant Track and Field Coach at Loras College. After her stint at Loras Nikki spent time at the University of Houston assisting with strength and conditioning sessions for baseball, softball, tennis, track, soccer, swimming, and diving. She has over 5 years of experience training amateur, collegiate, and professional athletes.

Nikki received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Business Administration from the University of Dubuque. She continued her education at the University of Houston Clear Lake where she obtained a Master’s degree in Exercise Science. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Nikki is also a certified USA Weightlifting Performance Coach. Nikki joins our team with the mission to help every athlete reach their maximum potential.

ROBERT HERSH

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

A former player at Texas Southern, Robert Hersh coached three season as a graduate assistant coach for the Special Teams as well as the kickers and punters in 2016. Hersh was a four- year letterman from 2008-2012 at Texas Southern University.

He began his career as the starting kicker, earning numerous special teams player of the week for the conference in his career. Going into his senior year he became the starting punter as well. In 2012 the opening game versus Prairie View A and M, Texas Southern had a six year loosing streak and that changed from a 47 yard game winning field goal coming from Hersh. Later on that season he came in clutch with a thirty-two yarder to beat Grambling State. After his senior year he was 7-10 on field goals and had a 41.3 yard average on punts. After the 2012 season he was named to second team all conference as a punter. Also being named to the 2012 HBCU all-star game as a punter. Graduating from Texas Southern University in May 2013.

Following graduation Hersh went to mini camp with the CFL Toronto Argonauts and after being cut he started teaching Special Education and Coached Football and Softball in Deridder, Louisiana in the fall of 2013. He coached running backs as well as special teams. In his first year his running back had over 1,400 yards and earing all state. Deridder finished the season with its best record in history 12-1 on the season making it all the way to the quarterfinals. The following summer 2014 Hersh came back to his alma mater as a graduated assistant with the football team. Hersh coached Special Teams and kickers from 2014-2017 well he developed two All Americans, one at punter Cory Carter (Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills) and Eric Medina as a kicker who was 15/16 his senior year on field goals. Robert Hersh is Also Co-Owner of Hersh Brothers Kicking. Helping all kickers and punters of all ages boys and girls.

Born April 10, 1990, Hersh is a native of Pearland, TX. Enjoys fishing and hanging out with his dog. Hersh graduated in December 2016 with a master in health education.

TAYLOR FREDERICK

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

-Began playing club volleyball at age 11. Played for Absolute Volleyball Academy (AVA) from 12’s-16’s and Houston Juniors Volleyball club (HJV) 17’s-18’s
-Played varsity volleyball for 4 years at Manvel High School
-Earned a collegiate volleyball scholarship
-Currently coaching at St. Johns Schools in Houston

Volleyball Achievements:

● 2 nd Team All District 6A Volleyball Team 2015-2016
● 3 rd place at Volleyball Nationals in National Division 2015
● Nomination for VYPE Magazine Outside Hitter of the Year 2016 season

● 2017 Academic All-State Honors Selection

● 2018- Pioneer of the Match. Led all players with 17 kills against Midwestern State University on 10/23 and San Angelo State University on 10/12
