My hobbies are reading and traveling the globe. While I have checked a lot of countries off of my bucket list, I wish to see the 8 wonders of the world. What I love most about traveling is that regardless of the language barrier, I am always able to connect with the natives through sports. For me, the best part about sports and training athletes is the competition. Games are always evolving, but one thing that seems to stay the same (no matter where you are in the world) is the competitiveness amongst athletes.

Charles Silmon broke the 10-second barrier in the 100m to join the exclusive group of men to do so at the 2013 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Following a full collegiate season at Texas Christian, his third place finish garnered him a spot on Team USA for the World Outdoor Championships. He showed his versatility weeks later and his ability at the professional level in being a part of the winning 4x100m relay at the Monaco Diamond League meet. A successful sprinter from a young age, Silmon’s career includes a World Junior Championships gold medal, a NACAC U-23 gold medal and an NCAA Outdoor 100m title. His collegiate career includes 12 conference titles between the Mountain West Conference and the Big 12 Conference, which TCU joined before his senior season.

I am currently a American-Nigerian professional sprinter and have competed for Nigeria’s national team in the 2012 World Junior Championship in Barcelona, the 2013 a World Championship In Moscow, and the 2015 World Championship in Beijing. I currently represent the USA. My events are the 60m dash, the 100 m dash, and 200m dash.
While in Highschool:
I attended Ursuline Academy of Dallas for all 4 years of highschool. I played basketball my freshman year and ran track all 4 years. My team won our 5A TAPPS state track and field championship meet 4 consecutive years from 2008-2011. I also am the Women’s 100 m champion for the 5A TAPPS state championship from 2009-2011 seasons.
Helping individuals transform their lives and reach their goals is truly a passion of mine. I have been training clients for 4 years now from middle school athletes to elderly clients in their 70s. Having trained that broad spectrum of individuals has helped me be a more versatile and seasoned fitness coach.
