On November 7, CHN Energy’s Guoshen Hami Coal Electricity Company,located in Hami, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, announced that its Dananhu No. 2 Mine has supplied over 1.4 million tons of coal outbound by far this year, reaching 1.4426 million tons, an increase of 649,600 tons compared to the previous year.

The Dananhu No. 2 Mine has fully leveraged the advantages of its storage, loading and transportation system, as well as its dedicated railway line, to strengthen cooperation with Guoyuan Fuel Company. By conducting customer visits to assess coal demand and coordinating with the railway bureau on train supply, the mine has improved communication and coordination with the railway department. This has significantly enhanced the efficiency of coal transportation by rail, with a total of 1.3826 million tons of coal transported by rail for sales this year. Additionally, the mine has utilized the "short, quick and efficient" advantages of road transport, selling 60,000 tons of coal via trucks.
The coal-electricity integration reform in Xinjiang has made significant progress, providing strong support for energy system reform. Since 2018, Guoshen Company has been exploring a new model of coal-electricity joint operations. Through integrated management, the company has reshaped the relationship between coal and electricity, achieving efficient collaboration between coal and power resources and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the energy industry.
